Southnord x Kulturnatten

We are excited to be collaborating with Kulturhuset Stadsteatern for Kulturnatten to bring you a screening of four shorts by Afro-Swedish filmmakers. The evenings screenings in Klara Biografen are curated by Marcia Harvey Isaksson and will start on the hour every hour from 18:00 until 21:00, free of charge.

We are excited to accept applications for this year’s UPNEXT, our annual initiative to platform young Afro-Nordic artists at Southnord. This is an opportunity for those between 18 and 28 years old to have a solo exhibition at the gallery.

Earthscape: A Southnord Collections Exhibition

Join us for our second collections exhibition at Southnord. Opening on the 4 February, this exhibition brings together eight diverse artistic practices preoccupied with landscape identity; ancestral memory; intertwined geographies; the relationship between land and body; consumerism and imperial capitalism.
