SOUTHNORD PRESENTS NEW THEME SONG AFRO NORDIC BLUE BY SOFIA JERNBERG
Southnord proudly announces the release of Afro Nordic Blue, a soundtrack by Swedish vocal artist and composer Sofia Jernberg. Created exclusively for the platform, this composition features Jernberg's innovative vocal techniques, including distortion and rhythmic chants, echoing themes of empowerment and existence.
Renowned for her experimental style, Jernberg pushes the boundaries of traditional singing with unique vocalisations that challenge norms. Afro Nordic Blue captures her unparalleled vocal prowess, inviting listeners on a transformative auditory journey.
“Sofia has a phenomenal voice which, coupled with her talent as a composer, has created an instant classic that will be Southnord’s anthem going forward. Available only on the Southnord website, the track incorporates African jazz influences and evocative phrases, including the compelling refrains "It's time!" and "We exist!".
